Maya's approach to yoga is about using the tools that yoga offers in day-to-day life.
In her book, she calls this “Yoga For Real Life” because it is a practical method for practising yoga, every day!

She started yoga when she was a concert pianist, to help her with the fear of performing, and to calm her nerves, but she soon realized that yoga helped her with anxiety and mental noise, too. There are many ways that Kundalini Yoga can help you as well.
Maya’s deepest desire is to share the knowledge she has gained to help people have a more fulfilled, joyful life.
